Dear Futsal coaches, players, parents, referees, administrators and all others that have supported the Long Island Futsal League.
We have been in contact with the school districts regarding allowing outside organizations to use their facilities for 2022. At this time, the school boards are all waiting a little longer before deciding, and I was advised to check back in late May 2021. The Long Island Futsal League is planning to be back in some fashion (possibly utilizing private facilities) next season for our 25th year.
For those who want to combine a summer vacation and some futsal in Florida, I am working with the Central Futsal Academy of St. Petersburg and have included the registration link below: (please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the tournament or the Long Island Futsal season)
Finally on a personal note, I know it has been a long and difficult time for all of us, as everyone has been impacted in some way by this pandemic. For those who have lost friends or family, I hope you have found the way to get through this terrible time of grief.
STAY SAFE, AND STAY HEALTHY.
